By becoming a member of the EHES, you are helping to promote economic history in Europe. You also become eligible to participate in EHES meetings and conferences. The Society’s siwteenth Congress was held in September 2025 in Hohenheim. The next Congress will be held in Antwerp, Belgium, in September 2027.
Members of the Society are entitled to receive the European Review of Economic History free of charge. The Review, which is published four times a year, is now in its 28th year and has established itself as a major publication attracting submissions from the best scholars in the field.
The 2026 membership fee is £58 (or €61 or $78) payable by direct debit or credit card. Joint membership with the Cliometric Society is available by payment of £79 (€91/$107) for one year to the European Historical Economics Society.
